Welcome to Upstate Easter Hunts ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operated by Tyler Thompson. By booking a service, submitting a reservation form, or otherwise engaging with our services, you ("Customer," "you," or "your") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Description
Upstate Easter Hunts provides Easter egg hunt setup services for residential properties. Our service includes arriving at your property the night before Easter (or another agreed-upon date) and hiding pre-filled Easter eggs throughout your designated yard area(s). We do not supervise, manage, or participate in the actual egg hunt itself. Our service is limited to the setup only.
2. Booking & Reservations
- All reservations must be submitted through our website contact form or by contacting us directly at (704) 453-3914.
- A reservation is not confirmed until you receive written or verbal confirmation from Tyler Thompson.
- We reserve the right to decline any reservation for any reason, including but not limited to service area limitations, scheduling conflicts, or safety concerns.
- Reservations are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis. We have a limited number of slots available per evening.
3. Packages & Pricing
- The Bunny Hop: 50 eggs – $60
- The Golden Basket: 75 eggs – $90 (includes 1 golden egg with a $5 bill)
- The Grand Hunt: 100 eggs – $130 (includes 3 golden eggs each with a $5 bill, plus an Easter basket with candy and goodies)
- Custom Packages: Available upon request for larger events.
Prices are subject to change without notice. The price in effect at the time of your confirmed reservation will be honored for that booking.
4. Payment Terms
- Payment is due in full prior to the setup date unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
- We accept payment via Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, and Cash App.
- Failure to submit payment before the agreed-upon deadline may result in cancellation of your reservation.
- We do not store or process credit card information. All payments are handled through third-party payment platforms (Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App), each subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies.
5. Property Access & Consent
- By booking our service, you grant us permission to access your property (specifically, the yard areas you designate) during the agreed-upon setup window, typically between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
- You represent and warrant that you are the legal owner or authorized occupant of the property and have the right to grant us access.
- You agree to ensure that the designated setup area is reasonably accessible, free of hazards, and that any pets are secured indoors or in a separate area during the setup window.
- You agree to inform any household members, security services, or neighbors (if applicable) of our visit to avoid misunderstandings.
6. Egg Contents & Allergen Disclaimer
- Pre-filled Easter eggs may contain candy, small toys, trinkets, stickers, or cash (for golden eggs and The Grand Hunt basket).
- We do not guarantee that egg contents are free from allergens, including but not limited to peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, soy, wheat, or gluten.
- If any member of your household has food allergies, you must notify us at the time of booking. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate allergy requests, but we cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free experience.
- You assume all responsibility for reviewing egg contents before allowing children to consume any candy or food items.
7. Small Parts & Choking Hazard
WARNING: Easter eggs and their contents may contain small parts that present a choking hazard to children under 3 years of age. Adult supervision is required at all times during the egg hunt. We are not responsible for any injuries resulting from the use of our products.
8. Weather Policy
- In the event of severe weather (heavy rain, thunderstorms, hail, tornado warnings, or other dangerous conditions) on the scheduled setup night, we will attempt to contact you to reschedule or adjust the setup time.
- If we are unable to perform the setup due to weather and no alternative arrangement can be made, you will receive a full refund.
- Light rain or mild weather will not constitute a cancellation. Eggs may get wet in inclement weather; we are not responsible for weather-related damage to eggs or their contents after setup is complete.
9. Animals & Wildlife
Once eggs are placed in your yard, we are not responsible for disturbance, damage, or removal of eggs by animals, wildlife, wind, or other environmental factors. We recommend beginning your egg hunt early in the morning for the best experience.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and design elements, is the property of Upstate Easter Hunts and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Pickens County, South Carolina.

Upstate Easter Hunts ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our website or engage our services.

- To process payment (your payment information is handled by third-party platforms; we do not store payment details)

3. Information Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service fulfillment: If we use helpers or assistants for setup, they may receive your address and relevant booking details only as needed to perform the service.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of Upstate Easter Hunts, our customers, or others.
4. Data Storage & Security
- Your personal information is stored on personal devices and/or email accounts controlled by Tyler Thompson.
- We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
- We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website may use or link to third-party services, including:
- Mapbox: For address autofill functionality. Mapbox may collect usage data subject to their own privacy policy.
- Google Fonts: For font delivery. Google may collect usage data subject to their privacy policy.
- Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Cash App: For payment processing. Each platform has its own privacy policy and terms of service governing their handling of your payment information.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
6. Cookies & Tracking
Our website does not use cookies or tracking technologies. We do not use analytics services. We do not track your browsing behavior.
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are marketed to parents and guardians, not directly to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
- Withdraw consent for us to use your information (which may prevent us from fulfilling your reservation)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective Date: February 7, 2026
1. Customer Cancellations
- More than 7 days before setup date: Full refund.
- 3–7 days before setup date: 50% refund.
- Less than 3 days before setup date: No refund. Eggs and supplies will have already been purchased and prepared for your order.
- No-shows: If we arrive at your property and are unable to access the yard or perform the setup due to reasons within your control (locked gates, aggressive unsecured pets, incorrect address, etc.), no refund will be issued.
2. Cancellations by Upstate Easter Hunts
- If we must cancel your reservation due to circumstances on our end (illness, emergency, overbooking), you will receive a full refund.
- If severe weather prevents setup and we cannot reschedule, you will receive a full refund.
3. Rescheduling
- If you need to reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate schedule changes, subject to availability.
- Rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the setup date will be treated as a cancellation and are subject to the cancellation policy above.
4. Refund Method
Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used for the original transaction (Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle). Please allow up to 5 business days for refund processing.
5. Disputes
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us directly at (704) 453-3914 before initiating any payment dispute. We are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
Liability Waiver & Disclaimer

By booking a service with Upstate Easter Hunts, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Assumption of Risk
You understand that Easter egg hunts involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slipping, tripping, falling, allergic reactions, choking hazards, insect exposure, and contact with outdoor elements. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with the egg hunt conducted on your property.
2. Supervision Requirement
Upstate Easter Hunts provides setup services only. We do not supervise or manage the egg hunt itself. You are solely responsible for supervising all children and participants during the egg hunt. You agree to ensure that adequate adult supervision is present at all times.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Upstate Easter Hunts, Tyler Thompson, and any agents, helpers, or representatives shall not be held liable for:
- Any personal injury, death, or bodily harm to you, your children, your guests, or any third party arising from or related to the egg hunt or the use of our products
- Allergic reactions to candy, food items, or materials contained within Easter eggs or baskets
- Choking incidents involving small parts, candy, or egg components
- Property damage caused by or related to the egg hunt activities
- Damage to eggs or their contents caused by weather, animals, wildlife, or environmental factors after setup is complete
- Damage to landscaping, plants, or lawn caused during egg placement (we take care to minimize any impact, but minor footprints or disturbances may occur)
- Theft, vandalism, or disturbance of eggs by third parties after setup
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
4. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Upstate Easter Hunts, Tyler Thompson, and any agents, helpers, or representatives from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of our services
- The egg hunt conducted on your property
- Your breach of these terms
- Any injury or damage to any person or property occurring on your premises in connection with the egg hunt
- Your failure to provide adequate supervision during the egg hunt
5. Maximum Liability
In no event shall our total liability to you for all claims arising out of or related to our services exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
6. No Warranty
Our services are provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the eggs will remain in their placed locations, that all eggs will be found, or that the experience will meet your specific expectations.
7. Photo & Testimonial Release
We may ask for permission to use photos of our setups (without identifying children or family members) or customer testimonials for promotional purposes. We will always request explicit consent before using any photos or testimonials. You are never required to provide photos or testimonials.
Service Area & Availability

1. Service Area
Upstate Easter Hunts currently serves Clemson, SC and the surrounding upstate South Carolina areas. Service availability depends on distance from our base location and scheduling capacity.
We reserve the right to decline bookings outside our service area or to charge an additional travel fee for locations beyond a reasonable distance.
2. Service Dates
Our primary service date is the night before Easter Sunday. We may offer services for other occasions or dates by request, subject to availability.
3. Setup Window
Setup is typically performed between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The exact time of your setup will depend on scheduling and the number of bookings for that evening. We will communicate an approximate window but cannot guarantee an exact arrival time.
4. Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any customer for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Safety concerns regarding the property or its occupants
- Inability to safely access the designated setup area
- Unsecured aggressive animals on the property
- Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward our staff
- Locations outside our service area
- Failure to provide accurate address or contact information
